Diamonds, like the Coins
suit of the Tarot, represents
wealth and economic
status.

However, it can
equally represent
anything of
value to you.

A spiritually-
minded person
might interpret
diamonds as virtue,
while a conqueror
might see diamonds
as "golden opportunities"
to make use of power.

The concept of the "black
diamond" in skiing has a reputation
not unlike the number thirteen, and
reflects a kind of combination of
spades and diamonds, whereby
one's wealth (i.e. diamonds) must
be black (i.e. skillful like spades).
One's wealth must be skill.
