The Impossible Machine
Whether more energy was
expended in setting up the
dominoes than was returned
does not effect the
determination that they make
use of volitional energy. As
long as it is only energy that
is required to return them to
their initial position,
and it remains true that
output at least equals input,
then in order to create
locational volition the only
question that need be solved
is that of volitional
equilibrium, which I have not
mentioned until now.
Volitional equilibrium is found through attention to form, and is
extremely difficult, if not impossible, to realize.
In order to have a situation that can achieve volitional
equilibrium, first it needs to have a clear capacity for volitional
energy. That itself is difficult. Volitional equilibrium is then
achieved when the volitional energy output is directed into
the volitional energy input, and not only that, but the exact
configuration of the apparatus is such that there is no
hindrance to the continuation of the locational volition, e.g.
there is no one-time use of any part of the machine, including
levers, secondary wheels, etc.
