Back to the Elements
The Impossible Machine
Earth has always been the
fundamental element, the
primordial clay, the basis for form.

It is the most base element, but
like sulpher and iron oxide, has
the potential to explode,
representative of pure potential.

As the stuff to which all returns,
earth also

represents limits and death.

Caves within the earth are
representative of mystery and
secrets, as well as the most
sequestered desolation.
